The CHaRA Zanzibar and USA team had a day of art and story telling about kindness with students in standard (grade) 1-3 at Kiyongwe Primary School. They made cards for their teachers telling them they were thankful for a good teacher. Thanks to CHaRA donors Jack and Mary Ernest and Valley Oaks Senior Citizens, children received new backpacks, pens, notebooks, and pencils. They also received the third round of TOMS Shoes.

Kiyongwe school is in need of desks for these 265 students in standard 1 and 2. A desk that will cost $150.00 will seat “3” kids. Please help in providing a better classroom environment for learning and teaching. Thank YOU!
