CHaRA is celebrating Mothers! We had two great days of visiting labor and delivery rooms at Chake Chake, Mnazi Mmoja and Mwembeladu Hospitals in Pemba and Unguja Zanzibar.

We were part of “Birthing Hope”. Every baby received a baby hat made by a special group of women in California and North Carolina USA and a receiving blanket donated by Abundant Life Preschool in California. It was a great way to end our celebration of the International Day of the Midwife.
