Building Nursery Schools Encourage Education and Keep Children Safe

Apr 17, 2013 | 0 comments

There are many reasons for children not attending school in Tanzania. Little girls are needed to fetch water, haul wood, gather food and care for younger siblings, ill parents or family members (such as those with HIV/AIDS). Children are often suffering from illness like malaria and diarrhea causing them to miss school. Then there is the cost of uniforms and supplies that families are not able to pay.

Many little girls are being molested while walking alone for water or wondering in the village looking for food. By providing a local school we can help protect these young girls. If we provide a water source parents will be encouraged to send them to school.

Education for girls has proved to have an impact on nutrition, healthcare, poverty reduction, and overall life of her family and community. In our schools children learn about the love of God, protecting themselves from abuse and preventing diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, and other health issues.

We have located several sites for needed school buildings. Each building cost $20,000.00. You can help by going to DONATE and give any amount towards a school building. You can give a complete school!
