The “5th” Anniversary Birthing Hope Tea was a great success!

I am overwhelmed with joy by the amazing women and girls that gather to give and hear about the wonderful Birthing Hope Project. This year 148 women and 2 men from 5 different States gathered at Hotel Concord to give hope to the midwives, mothers and babies of Zanzibar. 18 midwives in the village of Kiyongwe have been supported to receive training, supplies, and birth kits; 10 new Moms will receive baby care training and 28 babies will receive life-saving care in 2014. Thank you to all our guests for supporting Birthing Hope in Zanzibar.
