BIRTHING HOPE CENTER

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back to back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

Thank you for standing with us to build the Birthing Hope Center in Dongobesh. Step by step the Birthing Hope Center is being built.

As we travel the road to Dongobesh we are witnesses of the hard work people do each day to live. We also see young girls hauling water, wood, and food. Some of these girls will fall victim to abuse. Many cannot attend school.

People in Tanzania hearing about the project are telling us how important the Birthing Hope Center is to young women. Then they tell us stories of someone they know. Last week we were told that men often pay for a young lady to attend secondary school in trade for sex. The girls cannot resist the opportunity to receive an education. Sometimes it is their parents that cannot resist the help. They both feel desperate.

With the church in the Mbulu district we are putting a plan in place to teach girls and boys God’s plan for love, sex and marriage. It will be a beautiful plan filled with love and grace. Truly knowing God’s love is life changing for good.
