CHaRA partners with Zanzibar Outreach, IMPACT East Africa and Oxford University for a HEARING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN. During the week many children were fitted with hearing aids and given the opportuntiy to attend a hearing school free for three months. This was the first hearing clinic on the Island of Zanzibar.
CHaRA was able to remodel a building for an ENT Center on the Island of Pemba and with the generous donations from Baldwin Profefessional Equipment the Zanzibar clinic has a ENT chair and equipment. During the week of malaria and wellnes clinics CHaRA was able to give solar powered hearing aids because of our generous supporters. Thank you!
