Rashid Falki Nitumweme "Hernia Case"

We found him in Kijini Village when a CHaRA team was giving new T-shirts. A pediatric surgeon from the UK is coming to do his operation. We found him among hundreds of people. At the exact moment we found him, his aunt was seeing our nurse. This allowed us to know about Rashid, where to locate his parents. They have been afraid for his life, but now they know he will receive good care. CHaRA will get him to the Makunduchi hospital many miles from his home for the surgery. His parents will be put in a guest house during the proceedure to be nearby until he is ready to return home.

THESE WORMS WERE FOUND IN THIS LITTLE GIRL

                                                                                                       Her mother brought her to our clinic because she was sick. We gave her a glass of  clean water. As soon as she swallowed the water she began to vomit these worms. Her little body was infested.  All the kids in her village have worms. They are taking the lives of the children. There is a simple solution. CHaRA will take a team to teach parents and children about parasites and how they enter their body. We will treat all of the children for worms and give them vitamins to get them nourished.
